Eleanor McNeil (Root) passed away peacefully on 8/29/2020, at the age of 103. She will lovingly be remembered by her daughters Nancy (Jim) Bailey, Diane Muar, and Roz McNeil; grandchildren Rory (Debbie) Patrie, Doug (Rae) McNeil, Lynn Halterman, Jeff (Megan) Thornberg, Heather (Stephen) Holland; great grandchildren Pam (Tom), RJ, Mason, Dylan, Joshua and Jacob; and great-great grandchildren Emma and Eric; several nieces and nephews and many friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Lionel and son Douglas. Eleanor loved family gatherings and lived her life with grace and dignity until her passing. A service will be held at a future date. Memorials may be made in her name to Lifetime Care (Hospice), 330 Monroe Ave, Suite 400, Rochester, NY 14607.
