Ed was a loving, caring, quiet man who longed to serve his Savior; and oh how he wanted to be with his precious wife for so much longer. The Lord called Ed home to be with Him and we cannot imagine the pain and sorrow that follows for his wife and family. In the midst of the sorrow here on earth, may the glorious fact that Heaven's doors were opened, that Ed is rejoicing with the Lord who loved him and gave Himself for Ed, and that all his cancer is gone; now and forevermore give you comfort.

There are so many things that come to mind that I could share but I think the best is his Christ like Spirit, his ability to to care for others . We will miss our hikes with him and Kathy to Stoney brook, Chinese food, Chili cook offs, ( I always tried to out do him, but he was the better cook) .
He was a wonderful friend to my husband,
Serving the Lord comes from the heart, that will be my greatest memory of Ed.
We will miss you my friend, but we will see you again in glory..
