Millie was that special adult that you knew kids loved and respected. She cared about so many. Working in the cafeteria was easy with the lady’s and Millie watched over everyone. I have missed her since leaving BHS and know that God has carried her to heaven wrapped in eagles wings RIP Millie.

My sisters and I always knew her as Cookie. She lived next door to us with her aunt. I always loved her because she was so sweet and caring and just a really nice person. Although I have only seen her a couple time in the last few years I always felt love from her. Sadly I wish I had more contact. She was loved by all. I hope she is in peace.

I met Millie when I was assigned to cafeteria duty. The kids just adored her and she them. Such a kind and loving woman who knew how to dress! She always had one of her delicious baked goods on her cart. One of my most vivid memories was when she stepped into the middle of a fight that was brewing. One of our students lovingly put his hands on her shoulders and moved her off to the side so she wouldn't get hurt. She showed no fear and all of us just loved her. Another angel watching from overhead.

I've been out of high school for 15 years and I still clearly remember her. That's a testament to who she was. She had a positive impact on many students at BHS.

At times in my youth I struggled with anxiety and loneliness, Millie was always a safe haven for me. I’m deeply saddened by this loss to her family, friends, community, and all who knew her. I’m not sure I believe in heaven but if there is one, Millie is SURELY there among the angels ♥️

Its been 12 yeara since I graduate from BHS. The one thing that I missed the most was Ms. Millie, she was kind and gentle and she loved her "kids", to have someone who cared for children as your own is a rare gift that not many people experience but Millie did just that. She may not have remembered all of us but we sure rememebered her, she made such an impact for so many and this is truely heartbreaking. She was truely an angel in diguise and will be missed. Love, prayers and condolences to the family at this time.

Millie always knew how to make anyone’s day better. Those warm hugs she always gave me, followed by a kiss on the cheek while she pinched them and told me how much she loved me. I wish everyone could’ve been given the chance to meet such a sweet loving lady. She will truly be missed by all the students of brockport. You touched so many hearts throughout your years. Fly high you beautiful angel. I love you !
