Brockport: With great sorrow we announce the passing of Gifford Mosher on Wednesday September 19, 2012. Gifford was a lifetime resident of the area. He served in the Korean War, was a member of the Brockport Fire Department and a part-time Police Officer. Gifford started his own business here in Brockport "Giff Mosher and son Plumbing". He leaves his wife Marie, his children Cindy Ann (Daniel) Morphet, Robert (Pamela) Mosher, Theodore "Teddy" Mosher and Melinda Mosher, his grandchildren Christopher Mosher and Lora Mosher, great-grandson Cameron Joseph, his brothers Arthur (Helen) Mosher and their children, Brad (Hattie) Mosher and their children, his sister Betty Ferries Knab and her children, and many cherished friends. He will be missed by many!
There will be no prior calling hours. Gifford's memorial service will be held on Saturday September 29, 11:00 am at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc. 340 West Ave Brockport. A reception will immediately follow the service at the Brockport Exempt's Club, 248 West Ave Brockport. Gifford will be laid to rest beside his son Tommy at the Garland Cemetery.
