I had the pleasure of knowing Kevin almost my whole life. I grew up playing hockey at the Brockport rink, worked with him at the rink throughout my undergrad, and played Men's League with him often on Sundays. He was a 2nd father to me and one of the most influential people I've ever met. After my hockey games, I would come up to the office. Kevin and I would sit there and talk for hours. Kevin always gave without expecting anything in return. The last time I saw Kevin before his passing was at Lakeshore Ice Arena in April of 2023. He was getting ready for a beer league hockey game as I was re-surfacing the ice. Unfortunately, the Zamboni I was driving broke down and got stuck to the ice. I panicked and ran to Kevin for help. Kevin assisted me in solving the issue and helped tow the Zamboni off the ice. He shed light on me and did everything in his power to guide me towards my dreams. Kevin pushed me to strive for greatness, and I wouldn't be where I am today without him. I'll never forget the deep conversations we had, the crosschecks he gave me when we played hockey, and the knowledge he's passed onto me without hesitation. You will be missed Kevin. Rest in Peace.

I met Kevin working at Integron. I have never met someone who could put people at ease the way Kevin did. His way with people and life in general was special and rare. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to to the family.

I first met Kevin when I interviewed him for a position at Integron, he was 19 years young, and one hip kid. I teased him for years about the purple stripe of hair and an earring he donned at that time, wasn’t really purple. Over the years Kevin demonstrated tremendous tenacity, care for customers and partners of the company. Kevin ultimately achieved an executive position, a testament to the man that he embodied so full of goodness. He was one of a group at work Eric, Mike, Scott who would tell me a story that of course I believed, all in cahoots with one another until I looked at the smile in Kevin’s eyes and then I knew they were handily feeding me a line of BS that I routinely fell for.
My heart goes out to Danielle and the Grady Clan as Kevin calls them with great pride in his heart and so loves. I can only believe God must have a greater plan for Kevin, to take him so young. Until we meet again Kevin, and we will.

Heaven has welcomed a Beautiful Soul! Today a man we loved and respected, Kevin Grady, is being remembered and memorialized at his wake. I’m positive he has arrived in heaven and was greeted by all those who have proceeded him including his father (Tim), his Grandmothers ( Dorothy & Myrtle ), Grandfathers (Walter & Bill ), his Aunt (Kathy), Cousin (Lisa), and so many more who he loved and who loved him. He was an incredible man, filled with love, wisdom beyond his years, a great sense of humor, compassion, good morals, and ethics. A loyal Husband, father, son, brother, cousin, nephew, and friend. A better man I dare say… never created by the Lord above. He is missed and will never be forgotten.
R.I.P. Kevin.
Sincere Condolences
Much Love,
Uncle David Snell, Patricia Metzler, and Juan Jackson

I worked with Kevin on Saturday for a 6 am shift, and he never failed to make my day better. From something as small as giving me a handshake at the start of it, to making the shift go by faster by sharing our stories about our summers and our excitement about our bets on the upcoming Bills game. He always took genuine interest in what we talked about and I always looked forward to our next shift together.

I was fortunate enough to meet Kevin through my neighbor in Arizona, Kevin McGraw. I had heard so many stories about Western New York over the years through my neighbor Kevin, as a native of California and now living in Arizona I was curious to learn more this part of the world. As we planned a trip back to his hometown, I was told one of our first stops would be to see his good friend Kevin Grady. We went over to the Grady home our first night in town and the hours seemed to slip by like minutes. I made a new friend that night in Kevin Grady as we played poker and told stories until way too late into the night. We had a few more outings during my trip and I'm fortunate to say I had made a wonderful new friend in Kevin as I prepared to head back to the desert. Kevin and I have kept in touch since we met but he did a far better job keeping tabs on me and my family than I did of his. Thank you for your friendship, Kevin. You will be missed brother.

Dear Grady Family:
I'm so so sorry for your loss. Reading your eloquent words in his obituary so perfectly captured core parts of why he will be so dearly missed. "Scores of people would count Kevin as their best friend - his easy-going nature and ability to make others feel special were endlessly endearing." I barely knew Kevin but in our brief interactions he made me feel like a long-lost friend that he was eager to see. "Fun-loving competitor" is just so spot-on. At Sunday Zamboni Hockey, Kevin was like the Mayor. He treated all of us, even those on the opposing teams as friends and he made playing against him so much fun. He embodied the joy of playing the game. I will never forget him and I am so sorry for the pain of your loss.
"The pain I feel now is the happiness I had before. That's the deal." -CS Lewis

The memories shared with Kevin "Coach" Grady are not only some of my fondest childhood and early adult memories, but also some of the most important, and valuable moments in a developing life that could be observed. I, alongside dozens of other well rounded young men, learned how to support, love, and respect eachother. How to overcome as a team, how to lose as team, and how to cherish and enjoy the glory moments as they occurred and remember them forever. Thank you Kevin for the example you've set for us to carry on and pass down.
To all of the Grady Family, our love and support will remain a constant in your lives.

I've known Kevin and his family for decades. He was one of the nicest people I can say I've ever met. Just a bright and shiny light, through and through. I'll always remember his huge smile and sarcastic sense of humor that always had everyone roaring! My heart is completely broken for Danielle and their children and I can't even find the right words to express how deeply I feel for them at this moment. Heaven has a new, amazing angel. Kevin, you will be missed beyond words. Godspeed, my friend. ❤️

I worked Kevin for 9.5 years and his daughter Alahna for 2 years, Forrest for 2 years and Sheridan for a summer. I have been working with him on Abbott the whole time I have been here, and he has been the champion and main contact for them and went above and beyond to make sure the customer got the work they needed but also that we had everything we needed and was always so supportive. He has such big shoes to fill and was a true gentlemen and amazing friend and coworker. I will miss him dearly. I will never forget Alahna's last day working here we had a great connection and Kevin always supported our work friendship.

I worked with Kevin from my first year to my last year at Brockport. Whenever I came into work at the ice arena Kevin would greet me with a smile and we would have small talk about things like nursing school, food, sports etc and Kevin was just always there if I needed anything and was supportive of my nursing school journey from the start to finish! Everyone that comes in and out of that ice rink knows Kevin and he has touched so many people just by being such a kind person and the Ice arena will not be the same without him. He will truly be missed and I am glad that I got to know him a little better during my time at the rink. Heaven has gained another angel but his memories and kind soul will be with everyone he has touched forever ❤️

I only knew him for a short amount of time but he immediately accepted me into his family. After playing hours of table tennis on his team the first night we met I could tell how close the family was, and how big of a part he played. Through this short amount of time everytime I would encounter Kevin he was always smiling and having a good time and I will not forget the fun times we had. I hope the afterlife is ready to crown a new table tennis champ. You will be missed ❤️

I have had the honor of working alongside Kevin for the last three years at Brockport's ice arena and there is no one that can ever compare to him. Kevin was compassionate, loving, kind, and all around an amazing person. Kevin brought so much joy into life and into working at the ice arena. Kevin and I shared a love for the ice and we always found ourselves making small conversations about everything. Kevin was the listening ear I didn't know I needed. I am so thankful for all of the time I got to spend with Kevin and God took him too soon. I am going to miss his infectious smile and his dad talks. Thank you for everything you have given me Kevin. Rest easy ♡

Danielle and Kevin's greatest treasures, his children. I have worked with Kevin for 10 years. Also a nearby neighbor. I would share my split hosta and sedum plants with him. One day on our way home from Integron, he called me in my car to tell me to look out on 531 to see a rare bobcat siting. When we were in office, we would always chat about nature and the deer disappearing from the neighborhood. He was a wealth of information about everything and taught me alot.
He will be missed, and yes God took him way to early. His dad must have needed company in heaven. My love and prayers are with your family.

I knew Kevin from birth…changed his diapers, babysat him, was his school bus driver for many years and even took him on vacation to the 1000 Islands with my family. I have a couple Christmas ornaments he made me in his younger days that I still have and place on my tree every year. I have many fond memories of Kevin. To say he holds a special place in my heart is an understatement.
