Obituary of Matthew Clark
Matthew D. “Matty” Clark
Ogden, NY: Passed away suddenly on July 4, 2021, at the age of 43. Predeceased by his grandparents Arthur (Barbara) Clark and Ernest (Jean) Roessler, he is survived by his wife Jennie, daughters Marlie, Rylan, and Hadley, parents Arthur (Carol) Clark, father-in-law and mother-in-law Steven (Linda) Chesis, brother Geoffrey Clark and 1 niece, sister-in-law Susan (Steven) Leps, brother-in-law Adam Chesis, aunts Joan Peckham and Ellen Davis, and cousins.
Matt grew up in Lebanon Township, NJ and was a 1996 graduate of Voorhees High School. After moving to Bethel, Maine in 1998, he married Jennie and his three daughters were born. Matt worked 15 years at the Sudbury Inn (Bethel), ultimately as the sous chef. During those years, Matt formed many special friendships that he continued to speak of years after. More recently, Matt worked at the Brockport Wegmans as a food service assistant.
Matt loved his family and was also dedicated to his work. For more than 20 years, he and his family provided foster home care for an animal dog rescue organization. He had a wonderful sense of humor. He was loved by both friends and family and is missed so much already.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday July 20th from 4-7 at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc. 340 West Ave., Brockport. A funeral service will be held privately.
