We are at a loss for words when we lose someone so young, and just when we were getting to know Kim and beginning a new chapter in life with the upcoming marriage of our children.
We have no idea what you must be going through in losing what we think is the single most important compass in your lives. We know Kim was that to your family and with this loss comes so many layers of heartache. Please know our hearts are open to giving you anything you might need during this time of incredible loss.
You have our deepest sympathy.

As she taught me how to run our weekly service machine reports, Kim would always leave a note on my desk with the report to let me know how I did each week. And so that I could hang it up for all to see. Some weeks, in the beginning, it said See Me. And I always knew that although there was something wrong with the report she would be honest about it but also very fair and very good at explaining to me what I did wrong (sometimes in a very honest way!). One of our Operations Specialists now runs the report but I still have a note on the wall of my cubicle that says, "Board" with a smiley face. I know even though I didn't work with her for long (about 7 months) that she is someone who taught it was okay to make mistakes - and it's great to have a boss who can let you know what you did wrong and make you feel okay about it. She was a wonderful and caring person..and as one of her "girls" I will miss her very much.

Growing up I thought of you as my second family, and no words can express how sorry I am for your loss. My favorite memories are the camping trips, I don't know how we managed to get along in that camper :). We haven't been as close through the years, but if you need anything, let me know.
